a. Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address to create your account.

b. Gmail Data (with your permission)

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, Takeout Escape uses Google’s Gmail API to analyze order receipts from food delivery and takeout services.

• We only read relevant receipt-related emails (for example, from DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub).

• We do not read, store, or share any personal messages or unrelated emails.

• Gmail access is read-only and used solely to generate spending insights.

• You can revoke Gmail access at any time at Google Security Settings.

c. Subscription and Payment Data

We use RevenueCat and Apple In-App Purchases to manage subscriptions. We do not store or process your payment information directly — all payments are handled securely by Apple.

d. Analytics and Crash Data

We may collect anonymous analytics and crash logs (e.g., via Expo or Supabase) to improve app performance and user experience. This data is not linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the core functionality of the App

• Display insights into your food delivery spending and patterns

• Maintain account access and security

• Manage subscriptions and technical support

• Comply with legal requirements

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase and encrypted in transit via HTTPS. We use modern authentication and encryption standards to protect your information.

4. Your Choices and Rights

• You can revoke Gmail access at any time from your Google account settings.

• You can delete your Takeout Escape account and associated data by contacting us at support@takeoutescape.com

• You may also disable analytics tracking within your device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Takeout Escape uses the following third-party providers:

• Google APIs – for Gmail data access

• Supabase – for authentication and storage

• RevenueCat – for subscription management

• Apple In-App Purchases – for billing

Each third-party service follows its own privacy policy and complies with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA).

6. Children’s Privacy

Takeout Escape is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
